Product Information

Full details

The Carbeth Plants Spanish Bluebell Mixed Bulbs (10 Pack) are ideal for gardeners seeking a low-maintenance, colorful addition to woodland areas, flower beds, or containers. These hardy perennials provide a vibrant display of pink, lilac, blue, and white tones each spring, effectively attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies to your landscape. While they offer reliable, long-term beauty, gardeners should be aware that these bulbs require partial shade and well-draining soil to thrive, making them less suitable for areas receiving intense, direct sunlight.

Bulbs failing to sprout in spring

Ensure they are receiving adequate moisture without being waterlogged, and confirm they are not getting too much direct midday sun.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure success, plant your bulbs during the autumn or winter months. Choose a location with fertile, well-draining soil that receives partial shade. Space each bulb approximately 10 cm apart at a planting depth equal to three or four times the diameter of the bulb. If you cannot plant them immediately upon arrival, store the bulbs in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, and frost-free environment to prevent rot or premature sprouting. Once the growing season ends, allow the foliage to die back naturally to nourish the bulb for the following year.
