Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Wangmazi No. 2, avoid using it on hard surfaces like granite, glass, or marble, which can dull the blade prematurely; wood or high-quality plastic cutting boards are recommended. After each use, wash the knife by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth immediately to prevent water spots or rust. Do not place this knife in a dishwasher, as the high heat and harsh detergents can damage the handle and dull the edge. For sharpening, use a traditional whetstone or a reputable honing rod to maintain the factory edge periodically.
