Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both your source device (e.g., computer) and display device (e.g., monitor, TV) have compatible Displayport ports.
- Connect one end of the Kenable Displayport cable to the output port on your source device.
- Connect the other end to the input port on your display device.
- Power on both devices. Your display should automatically detect the signal. You may need to select the correct input source on your display device via its on-screen menu.
Compatibility:
This cable is compatible with any device featuring a standard Displayport output and input. It supports Displayport versions and resolutions as defined by the standard. Optional Dual-Mode support allows for passive conversion to DVI or HDMI signals when used with compatible adapters or dongles, provided your source device supports this feature.
Care:
- Avoid sharply bending or kinking the cable, as this can damage the internal wiring.
- Keep connectors clean. If dust accumulates, use a dry, soft brush or compressed air.
- Store the cable away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture.
- When unplugging, grip the connector housing firmly rather than pulling on the cable itself.
