This Solid Brass Inlay Kit from AUKTools is designed for creating perfect fitting inlay repairs and decorations. It includes a 1/8” downcut solid carbide spiral bit (1/4" Shank) for chip-free cutting, a quick-change bushing, a template guide, and complete instructions. The router base needs a clear 30.16mm (1-3/16") diameter aperture for fitting the guide bush, and a sub-base adaptor may be required. To use the kit, first create a template of your design. Then, install the precision machined bushing with collar and the 1/8" diameter cutter into your router and follow the template to cut the design into your work. Finally, remove the collar from the bushing and cut the positive inlay using the same template to achieve a perfect fit. The kit also features 90 and 45-degree angle settings for versatility and has easy-to-read metric graduations on both edges of the blade, with a knife edge on the main blade for accurate marking out.
