This pack contains 2 MX Flexi Seal Strips, designed to transform any flat-top shower tray or bath into a tiling upstand option by creating a watertight seal between the tray and the wall. This professional waterproofing solution is applied by hand to the wall-facing sides of shower trays or baths prior to installation. Its flexibility makes it suitable for new builds, repairs, or renovations, and it's ideal for bathrooms, showers, kitchens, and any area requiring a waterproof seal. Installation Instructions: Tools and Materials Required (not supplied): Damp Cloth, Scissors, Small Roller (or other appropriate tool), Silicone sealant (or other suitable sealant). 1) Remove the protective film from the edge of the tray where the seal strip will be attached, but leave it over the base of the tray to protect its surface during installation. 2) Wipe the surfaces where the strip will be attached with a clean, damp cloth, allow to dry, and then wipe with the provided IPA wipe. 3) Determine the length of strip required to seal around the shower tray and cut to length with scissors, ensuring it is at least 20mm longer than needed. 4) Peel back approximately 20cm of backing from the black adhesive strip. 5) Attach the strip to the edge of the shower tray, ensuring it is square and protrudes at least 20mm above the tray's edge. 6) Using a small roller or other appropriate tool, roll the seal strip to firmly attach it to the tray edge, removing any bubbles or creases, paying close attention to the corners. 7) Gradually remove the cover strip in sections and roll on the seal so it attaches firmly and squarely to the edge of the tray.
