Setup, Compatibility & Care
This blade uses a universal-style mount that fits the vast majority of standard oscillating multi-tools on the market. Always verify that your tool uses a bolt-and-washer or quick-release lever system that accepts non-Starlock blades. To install, ensure your power tool is unplugged or the battery is removed. Align the hole pattern on the blade with the drive spindle of your tool, then tighten the securing nut or engage the locking lever firmly. After use, inspect the teeth for debris buildup. If cutting through painted trim or drywall, use a soft wire brush to remove stuck material from the gullets, which keeps the blade from overheating during subsequent cuts. Store in a dry environment to prevent premature oxidation of the blade steel.
