Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both your source device and display device have DisplayPort ports.
- Connect one standard male DisplayPort cable to the output of your source device.
- Connect the other end of this cable to one of the female ports on the DisplayPort v1.4 Coupler.
- Connect a second standard male DisplayPort cable to the display device.
- Connect the other end of this second cable to the remaining female port on the DisplayPort v1.4 Coupler.
- The connection is now established; your display should automatically detect the signal.
Compatibility:
This adapter is compatible with all devices featuring a DisplayPort output or input. It fully supports DisplayPort v1.4 specifications and is backward compatible with DisplayPort v1.2, v1.1, and v1.0, ensuring it works with a wide range of monitors, graphics cards, laptops, projectors, and other DisplayPort-enabled equipment.
Care:
To maintain optimal performance and longevity, keep the adapter clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Periodically, gently clean the gold-plated connectors with a dry, lint-free cloth to ensure a clean connection. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
