The FloPlast Ring Seal Soil Stack Kit is designed for DIY enthusiasts and trade professionals needing a reliable, comprehensive solution for installing or repairing 110mm soil systems in domestic and light commercial properties. This all-in-one package provides essential components like piping, couplings, and a vent terminal for a standard vertical soil stack configuration. While it is highly compatible with most British and European standards, users should note that additional roofing accessories such as weather slates or specific air valves must be purchased separately if the project requires roof-space termination.

No, this system is specifically designed for domestic and light commercial soil and waste drainage, not for aggressive industrial chemicals.
The kit includes solvent weld, but silicone lubricant should be purchased separately for smooth assembly of the ring seal fittings.
No, if you need to exit through a roof, you will need to purchase a specific Weathering Slate (SP320) separately.
Yes, standard PVC soil pipe can be easily cut using a fine-toothed hand saw, provided you chamfer the edge afterward.
The 110mm sizing is standard in the UK, making this kit compatible with most major British and European drainage manufacturer systems.
Ensure the pipe end is properly chamfered and use a silicone lubricant to reduce friction during insertion.
Check that the rubber seal is correctly seated and that the pipe end is not cracked or deformed from a rough cut.
Ensure the pipe was withdrawn slightly (10mm) from the stop to allow for natural movement caused by temperature changes.
Proper installation begins with preparation: all pipe cuts must be square and filed smooth (chamfered) to avoid damaging the rubber seals. Keep the internal components free of grit or construction debris. For maintenance, simply ensure the system remains clear of blockages; the ring seal design allows for easier partial disassembly compared to fully solvent-welded systems if you ever need to inspect or clear the line. If you are terminating the vent in a roof space, consider integrating an Internal Air Valve (AV110). If the pipe must pass through a roof, ensure you utilize a compatible Weathering Slate (SP320) to maintain a watertight seal against the elements.
