Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug the straight RJ45 connector into your network device (router, switch, hub, PC, console) and the right-angled RJ45 connector into its corresponding port. Ensure a secure click sound indicates proper connection. The right-angled connector can be oriented to face upwards, downwards, left, or right depending on the port and surrounding space.
Compatibility: This is a standard CAT5e Ethernet patch cable and is compatible with all devices featuring an RJ45 Ethernet port. It supports a wide range of network speeds, including 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet). It is straight-through wired, meaning it connects directly from pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, etc. This is the standard for connecting end devices (like computers or consoles) to network equipment (like routers or switches).
Care: To ensure longevity, avoid kinking the cable sharply or placing heavy objects on it. The durable PVC jacket offers protection, but extreme temperatures or excessive pulling should be avoided. Clean the cable with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals.
