Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare Surface: Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease.
- Open Tube: Carefully remove the cap. For the first use, a small initial test bead on scrap material is recommended to ensure flow.
- Apply Glue: Apply a small amount of glue to one surface using the precision nozzle. Avoid excessive application.
- Join Surfaces: Immediately press the parts together firmly and hold for several seconds until the bond sets.
Compatibility:
This glue is suitable for bonding:
- Plastics
- Wood
- Metal
- Rubber
- Ceramics
- Leather
It is *not* recommended for use on polystyrene, polyethylene, PTFE, or fabrics. Always test on an inconspicuous area if unsure.
Care:
- Storage: Store tubes in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the cap tightly sealed after each use to prevent drying out.
- Cleaning: Remove excess uncured glue immediately with a dry cloth. Cured glue can be carefully scraped away or softened with a specialized cyanoacrylate remover (test in an inconspicuous area first).
- Safety: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children.
