Troubleshooting

Brolly feels unstable during setup

Ensure that your 24-inch Quick Sticks are fully extended and locked into position; check that the storm sides are properly tensioned.

Water pooling on the canopy

Ensure the brolly is pitched at the correct angle so that the apex is slightly elevated, allowing rain to run off the sides.

Difficulty inserting the centre pole

Verify that no debris or grit has entered the bell cap housing; clean the mechanism and realign the ribs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely lightweight at just 4.5kg for the brolly body
Rapid setup design perfect for short sessions or mobile fishing
Increased headroom thanks to the optimized frame geometry
High-quality Aquatexx fabric provides excellent weather resistance
Compact transport size fits easily into most carryalls

Cons

24-inch Quick Sticks are not included and must be purchased separately
Groundsheet is not provided with the system
Best suited for shorter sessions rather than multi-day carp expeditions

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the Fast & Light MK2, ensure you have a flat, stable surface. Attach your 24-inch Quick Sticks to the sides to achieve the necessary tension and frame support. When packing away, always ensure the Aquatexx material is completely dry before rolling it into the supplied storage sleeve to prevent mildew. The brolly is compatible with standard bank stick sizing, though 24-inch sticks are required for optimal height. Regular care involves wiping down the frame with a dry cloth and rinsing the canopy with fresh water if it has been exposed to muddy or salty conditions. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
