The Shires Dutch Gag is crafted from stainless steel, making it a durable choice for equestrian use. This bit is particularly beneficial when enhanced control is needed, as its three-ring design provides leverage options that can increase the severity of the bit's action. For sizes 5 inches and smaller, the cheeks are designed to be shorter to maintain the bit's proportion. Available in sizes 4.5", 5.0", 5.5", and 6.0". Mouthpiece thickness is 21mm. Cheek height is 160mm for 4.5" and 5" sizes, and 180mm for 5.5" and 6" sizes.
