The Makita DTM51 has been developed based on the models BTM50 and equipped with the tool-less accessory change system. It features a tool-less accessory clamp with a lever-style lock system for quick installation and replacement of accessories. The ergonomically designed barrel grip offers a comfortable circumference and shape for extended use. An integrated battery capacity warning lamp indicates remaining power: blinking red for low battery and solid red when the battery protector shuts off the power. Accessories can be installed at 30-degree increments across 360 degrees. Key features include a variable speed control dial, soft start, and an anti-restart function for high operating efficiency. This bumper pack includes 44 popular Makita accessories, all featuring the new Makita Starlock fitting, an improved, standardized accessory-fitting system for multi-tools. Starlock blades have a future-proof 'cake-tin' pattern for a 3D connection, ensuring 100% power transfer for maximum performance, stability, and precision. Suitable cutting materials include sheet metal, fiber cement, plasterboard, wood, plastic, laminate, metal, mortar, non-ferrous metals, and steel. The kit includes various plunge cut saw blades, segment saw blades, a flexible scraper, HM segsaw blades, a scraper, and abrasive paper in 60, 100, and 150 grit. It also comes with a sanding pad and a tool box for accessories. The tool is suitable for cutting applications involving sheet metal, fiber cement, and plasterboard.
