Full details
The Comfort Beds Sofia Chrome Plush Divan Set in Pink is designed for those seeking a stylish and supportive mattress foundation, particularly for spare rooms or occasional use. Its key benefit lies in its premium platform-top construction, offering stable, even support and a modern aesthetic with chrome gliders. A potential caveat is that the mattress is single-sided and ideal for lighter use, meaning it may not be the best choice for individuals requiring very robust, daily support or frequent rotation.

FAQs
What is the primary benefit of the platform-top construction?
The platform-top base provides a consistently even and stable surface for the mattress, preventing sagging and offering uniform support.
Can this divan set be used for everyday, heavy use?
This set is recommended for spare rooms or occasional use. While it offers good support, it may not be as durable for intensive, daily use compared to heavy-duty divan bases.
How do I care for the mattress?
The mattress has a breathable knitted cover. You can spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild detergent. As it's single-sided, you should rotate it head-to-toe periodically rather than flipping it.
Are there any storage options with this divan set?
This specific model (Small Double) is a standard divan base and does not include any built-in storage drawers. Other variants may offer storage.
What is the comfort level of the included mattress?
The mattress is rated as medium comfort, providing a balance of support and pressure relief.
Do I need to assemble the divan set?
Yes, some assembly is required, primarily for attaching the headboard to the divan base and fitting the chrome gliders.
What is the warranty period?
The set comes with a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.
Troubleshooting
Divan base creaks or is unstable
Ensure all fixings, especially those connecting the base and headboard, are securely tightened. Check that the chrome gliders are firmly attached and the floor is level.
Mattress feels uneven
Confirm the mattress is correctly positioned on the platform-top base. As the mattress is single-sided, ensure you are using it in the correct orientation. Rotate it head-to-toe if possible to even out wear.
Headboard is wobbly
Verify that the headboard struts are correctly aligned with the pre-drilled holes on the divan base and that all bolts and screws are fully tightened.
Fabric on divan base appears soiled
Gently spot clean the affected area with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild soap solution. Blot dry immediately. Avoid soaking the fabric.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The divan set requires assembly of the headboard to the divan base. The chrome gliders should be attached to the base corners. The mattress is placed directly on the platform-top base. For best results, follow the included assembly instructions carefully.
Compatibility: This divan set is designed to house the included Comfort Beds mattress. The headboard is compatible with the specified divan base size. It is not designed for use with slatted bases.
Care: To maintain the divan base, wipe the fabric with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive moisture. The mattress has a breathable knitted cover that can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. As the mattress is single-sided, avoid trying to flip it. Regular vacuuming of the mattress surface can help keep it clean. Rotate the mattress head-to-toe periodically (if possible based on its single-sided design) to ensure even wear.
