This tape is best suited for hard, smooth surfaces. Application on carpet is not recommended as it will not adhere properly and may create a tripping hazard.

Under normal conditions and with proper application and care, the adhesive can last for several years. However, heavy foot traffic and environmental exposure may reduce its lifespan.

Removal can vary depending on the surface and how long the tape has been applied. Gentle heat from a hairdryer may help soften the adhesive. Test removal on an inconspicuous area first, and be prepared for potential residue which may require a solvent cleaner.

While the tape is suitable for outdoor use and can withstand moisture, it is not designed for constant submersion or high-traffic wet areas like shower floors. Its primary purpose is to provide grip on walkways, steps, and general-use floors.

The black/yellow tape is designed for high visibility, making it ideal for hazard warnings and areas where clear demarcation is needed for safety. The clear tape offers an anti-slip solution while blending more discreetly with the underlying surface.

No special tools are required. You will need scissors or a utility knife to cut the tape to size, and a firm object like a roller or credit card to press it down securely.

Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned, dried, and free of any contaminants before application. Re-apply pressure, especially to the edges, using a roller or firm object. Consider using a primer designed for adhesives on difficult surfaces.

Press down firmly on the edges. If the issue persists, consider carefully removing the tape and re-applying with a suitable adhesive enhancer or primer, ensuring the surface is perfectly prepped.

Clean the tape surface regularly. For heavily trafficked areas, inspect for wear and tear and replace sections as needed to maintain optimal grip.

Use a sharp utility knife or strong scissors. Score the tape first if needed, and cut on a protected surface.
