FAQs

Does the mirror come with mounting hardware?

It is recommended to use hardware suitable for your specific wall type; please check the included packaging, but always ensure your fixings are rated for the mirror's weight.

Can this mirror be hung in a bathroom?

While it can be placed in a bathroom, avoid direct water contact and ensure the room is well-ventilated to prevent moisture damage to the frame finish.

What is the total diameter of the item?

The mirror has a total diameter of 70cm, frame included.

Is the blue finish matte or glossy?

The blue bobbin frame typically features a smooth finish that reflects light, enhancing its sculptural appearance.

How should I clean the frame safely?

Use a soft, dry cloth or a duster. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that could scratch the paint or the unique bobbin structure.

Troubleshooting

Mirror appears tilted when mounted

Check that the hanging hardware is level across the back of the frame and ensure both wall anchors are at the exact same height.

Dust building up in the bobbin texture

Use a compressed air duster or a soft-bristled brush to reach into the curves of the frame without damaging the finish.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installing the Ruan mirror requires careful attention to wall structure due to its size and weight. Always ensure you are using wall-appropriate fixings (such as heavy-duty screws or anchors) to support the weight of the frame.

Compatibility:

Suitable for most wall types (drywall, masonry, or wood).
Best used in rooms where the vibrant blue colour can be balanced with complementary decor.

Care Instructions:

Clean the glass surface using a standard, lint-free cloth and glass cleaner to avoid streaks.
For the frame, use a soft, dry brush or a microfiber cloth to remove dust from the crevices of the bobbin detailing.
Avoid using harsh chemicals on the blue finish, as this may dull the vibrancy of the colour over time.
