The radiator features aluminum cooling fins and plastic water tanks.
You must verify compatibility with your specific vehicle's make, model, and year before purchasing. This radiator is designed as an OE equivalent.
It is recommended to check your coolant level regularly, ideally before long drives and at least once a month, especially in extreme weather conditions.
Always use the coolant type and mixture recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer to ensure proper performance and prevent system damage.
Aluminum offers excellent thermal conductivity, allowing for efficient heat transfer from the coolant to the air, thus improving cooling performance.
The plastic water tanks are designed for durability and resistance to corrosion, offering a lightweight alternative. However, they may be more susceptible to physical impact damage than metal tanks.
Brazing is a joining process that creates a strong, leak-free bond between the cooling fins and tubes, ensuring the structural integrity of the radiator.
Verify proper coolant level, check for air pockets in the system (bleeding may be required), and ensure all hose connections are secure and leak-free. Confirm the fan is operating correctly.
Inspect all connection points, including hose clamps and mounting areas. If leaks are originating from the core or tanks, the radiator may need replacement.
Clean the radiator fins of any debris. Ensure adequate airflow through the radiator and check that the thermostat is functioning correctly.
This could indicate an issue with the fan or water pump. Inspect these components for proper operation and bearing wear.
