The 3M Under Sink Drinking Water Filter Kit provides a full DIY system for great tasting water. This system features the AP2-C405-SG filter, a 0.5-micron carbon block that is bacteria rated and effectively removes contaminants. It also includes heavy metal removal media to reduce lead and polyphosphate for scale inhibition. The carbon block effectively reduces chlorine, improving taste and odor, and removes sediment and suspended solids. The compact design offers a larger 4000-liter capacity for extended use. The AP2-C405-SG filter removes 99.95% of Protozoan Cysts, Cryptosporidium & Giardia. It also reduces sediment, chlorine, bad taste & odour, lead, limescale, benzene, dichlorobenzene & toxaphene. It has a bacterial growth inhibitor and scale inhibitor incorporated. The twist-fit cartridge allows for easy and clean filter changes every six months.
