The Makita LXT Brushless Plunge Saw is powered by two 18 volt Li-ion batteries which transfer energy to the powerful 36 volt DC motor drive system. Using Automatic Torque Drive Technology, this saw can automatically change cutting speeds according to working conditions for prime excision. Completely cord free and using the latest soft start technology, this Makita Plunge Saw is easy to use with minimal start-up shock and smooth splinter free cutting. Compatible with Guide rail Features of the 194368-5 Guide Rail: 1500mm. Extruded Aluminum Construction. Ideal for use with sheet materials, including plywood, panelling, etc. Vinyl Seat on top side enables SP6000 to slide smoothly and freely. Rubber Seats on underside grip most materials to secure rail when cutting. Rubber Splinter Guards indicates exact cutting line Vinyl and Rubber Seats feature peel/stick construction for quick and easy replacement. Use with Guide Rail Clamps (194385-5) for added security when cutting smooth materials (not included). Use with Bevel Guide (194433-0) for quick and accurate setting and cutting of angles (not included). Can be cut to suit specific applications where shorter lengths are required. Can be combined in sequence with Guide Rail Connectors (P-20177) where longer lengths are required (not included). Features of the BL1850 Battery: The Makita BL1850 5.0ah 18v li-ion battery lithium ion 5 amp LXT uses and optimum charging system that will outperform previous Makita li-ion batteries like the BL1830 BL1.
