Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This trowel is ready to use out of the box. Ensure the blade is clean and dry before first use.
Compatibility:
Suitable for use with all standard plaster and skim coat compounds.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, immediately wipe the blade clean with a damp cloth to remove all plaster residue. Avoid letting plaster dry on the blade, as it can be difficult to remove and may damage the steel.
- Drying: Dry the blade thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth after washing to prevent rust or corrosion.
- Storage: Store the trowel in a dry place. Hanging it by the handle or placing it in a tool roll can protect the blade from damage.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the connection between the blade and handle for tightness. The aluminum holder is designed for durability, but a quick visual inspection ensures optimal performance.
