90% tungsten allows the barrel to be thinner while maintaining the same weight as lower-percentage materials, which helps improve scoring groupings.
These darts are designed specifically for the switch point system. Only use points explicitly compatible with the RED DRAGON switch point line.
Yes, their consistent weight distribution and balance make them an excellent choice for beginners looking to grow into professional-grade equipment.
You should change points when you notice them becoming dull, burred, or if you feel they are not gripping the dartboard effectively.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away sweat and dust. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the tungsten finish.
Use the switch point tool to verify the point is fully tightened into the barrel thread.
Check your shaft length and flight shape; changing these can adjust the flight path of your dart.
Ensure you are using the correct removal tool and that there is no debris in the thread of the barrel.
To begin, ensure the points are firmly seated before your first session. When using the switch point feature, always use the manufacturer-recommended tool to prevent damage to the barrel threads. Compatible with most standard flights and shafts, you can customize your setup to match your specific throw speed. For care, store your darts in a protective case to prevent barrel damage and point dulling. Periodically check the point tightness to ensure they remain secure during play, and clean the tungsten surface with a dry cloth to remove oils and debris that might affect your grip.
