Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation typically involves accessing the cabin air filter housing, which is most commonly located behind the glove box or under the dashboard cowl. Always consult your vehicle owner's manual for the specific location and tool requirements.
- Ensure the vehicle is off and the key is removed from the ignition.
- Access the filter housing by removing the glove box or specific service panel.
- Note the airflow direction indicated on your old filter and ensure the new LAK 78 is installed with the arrows pointing in the same direction.
- Secure the housing cover firmly to prevent air bypass.
Care instructions are straightforward: inspect the filter during your routine oil change. If you drive in dusty or off-road conditions, consider replacing the unit more frequently than the standard interval to ensure the HVAC blower motor does not experience unnecessary strain.
