Eaves Closure / Starter Units Pack of 2 provides a strong foundation for the first verge unit and is rebated to allow for guttering clearance. It is used in conjunction with Manthorpe ambidextrous dry verges and can be used on both left and right hand sides to start the dry verge. Manufactured from UV stabilised polypropylene, this system is independently wind tunnel tested at the BRE and complies with Building Regulations and British Standards, meeting BS 5534 requirements for mechanical fixing. The Eaves Closure Unit is the first element of the system to be installed and secures the lower end of the first verge unit at the eaves, providing a strong fixing and a foundation for the remainder of the system. The design is ambidextrous in nature and can be used on both verges of the roof, with the rebated unit allowing adequate clearance for any extended guttering.
