This stair carpet runner is made using a needlepunch technique, where short staple fibres are bonded together with barbed needles. Commonly found in high-traffic areas like offices, schools, and airports, this runner is highly durable and resistant to pulling, snagging, treading down, or flattening. Its pile construction is exceptionally resilient, making it ideal for homes with pets and virtually indestructible. Classified as heavy domestic, it's suitable for high-traffic areas, particularly staircases. The runner features a latex, gel backing, providing a non-slip grip on hard flooring such as wood, vinyl, or ceramic tiles. While it offers anti-slip properties on carpet, effectiveness may vary based on carpet thickness. The 100% waterproof and rot-proof backing ensures the carpet won't shrink or wrinkle when wet. The texture is relatively coarse with a firm feel, prioritizing durability and practicality over luxury. Made from 100% Polypropylene, this carpet boasts excellent stain resistance, bleach proofing, and UV fade resistance. It is also anti-static, moth-proof, and meets British safety standards (BS 4790) with a low radius of ignition and hot nut testing.
