B&Q 99.9% Pure Boric Acid is a highly effective, industrial-strength solution designed for homeowners and professionals looking for a reliable way to manage common household pests like ants, silverfish, and cockroaches. Its primary benefit lies in its purity and targeted effectiveness on insects that groom themselves, though it must be handled with care to ensure it remains out of reach of children and pets.

No, this product should be kept strictly away from pets. Apply only in inaccessible areas like cracks, crevices, or wall voids.
As a chemical compound, it does not have a formal expiration date, but it should be kept dry in its original resealable pouch to maintain its efficacy.
No, it should never be applied to food preparation surfaces or anywhere food is stored.
It acts as a stomach poison for insects that ingest it while grooming themselves.
Yes, because only a very light dusting is required for effective pest control, 50g covers many localized areas.
Ensure the application area is completely dry; if the pouch was left open, the product may have absorbed moisture.
The layer may be too thick; try to achieve a barely visible, fine dust that insects will easily track through.
To use, ensure the area is dry before application. Use a small puffer or dusting tool to apply a fine, uniform layer of the acid into cracks and crevices where pests harbor. Avoid applying in high volumes; a light dusting is more effective than a thick pile. Keep the pouch tightly sealed when not in use to prevent the product from absorbing atmospheric moisture. Store in a cool, dry place away from food items, and always wash your hands thoroughly after application. If the product needs to be removed, it can be vacuumed or wiped up with a damp cloth.
