The Amtech Suction Table Vice is suitable for plastic, aluminum, rubber, and similar materials commonly used in crafts, hobbies, and electronics.
Place the vice on a clean, smooth surface and press down firmly on the suction lever to activate the suction base.
The head position can be adjusted to suit your project. Loosen the adjustment mechanism, position the head as needed, and tighten the mechanism to secure it.
The jaw capacity is 70mm (2.75 inches).
While the vice is strong, it's designed for crafts, hobbies, and electronics. It may not be suitable for extremely heavy-duty industrial applications.
Clean the vice after each use with a damp cloth. Check the jaws for wear and tear and replace them if necessary. Lubricate the swivel mechanism periodically.
Ensure the table surface is smooth, clean, and non-porous. Check the suction base for any debris that might be preventing a seal. Press down firmly on the lever.
Make sure the material fits within the jaw capacity. Tighten the ratcheting mechanism until the material is firmly held.
Check for any obstructions preventing movement. Lubricate the swivel mechanism with a small amount of machine oil if necessary.
