They are designed for glass and mirror within a thickness range of 1/8" to 3/8" (3 to 10 mm). Extremely thin or thick glass may not be compatible.

The high-density plastic jaws prevent chipping or marring the glass surface, which is a common issue with steel jaws. This ensures a cleaner score line and a better final product.

After scoring, use gentle, consistent pressure along the score line. For larger pieces or more complex breaks, a glass cutter's breaking plier or tapping technique may also be necessary.

These pliers are ideal for scoring and initiating a break. For heavier cutting tasks or very thick glass, you might need specialized cutting tools in addition to these pliers.

The pliers have an overall length of 8-1/2" (216 mm) and weigh 166 g, making them lightweight and easy to handle.

Keep the jaws clean and dry. Store them in a dry place to prevent rust and protect the jaws from damage. Wipe them down after each use.
