Installation of the DRR46001 typically requires removing the vehicle dashboard and center console to access the HVAC plenum. Because this process involves draining and refilling the engine's cooling system, it is recommended to perform a full system flush during replacement to prevent debris from clogging the new core. Compatibility is specific to vehicle make and model; always verify fitment against your VIN before purchase. To maintain the life of the heater core, ensure your vehicle's coolant is changed at the manufacturer-recommended intervals to prevent scaling and electrolysis.
