Product Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures longevity and optimal performance:
- After Each Use: Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Plates: Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the non-stick cooking plates. For stubborn residue, use a plastic or wooden utensil to gently scrape it off, then wipe with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners, metal scouring pads, or sharp objects as they can damage the non-stick coating.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Once clean and dry, engage the locking latch and store the toastie maker upright in a cool, dry place to save space.
