This LoofCo Soap Rest is hand-made in Egypt from the gourd of the native Luffa Aegyptiaca plant. Each soap rest measures approximately 7.5cm x 10cm, perfectly sized for standard soap bars. Layered loofah is carefully stitched together to create a stable, rectangular rest for your soap by the sink, bath, or shower. It's a great way to prevent soap from sliding off the edge and offers a compostable, plastic-free alternative to traditional soap dishes. To use, place it by your sink, bath, or shower and rest your soap bar on top. The rest may become damp and swell slightly when in use, but it is designed with stitched layers to provide a flat, aerated cushion for your soap. Periodically rinse well, squeeze out excess water and soap residue, and allow it to dry between uses. Your LoofCo Soap Rest is long-lasting, and when it reaches the end of its life, it can be composted.
