Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure all mounting points are secure and rated for harness loads. Use the snap hook fixings or roll bar loops as appropriate for your vehicle's chassis or roll cage. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's and harness manufacturer's instructions for correct installation angles and load paths. Always ensure the harness is used strictly with an approved FHR/HANS device as per FIA 8853-2016 regulations.
Compatibility: This harness is designed for use in competition vehicles equipped with FHR systems. Compatibility with specific seat designs should be verified, particularly concerning the width of the 2” FHR webbing. Mounting points must be structurally sound and compliant with racing regulations.
Care: Clean the harness webbing and adjusters with a mild soap and water solution using a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the webbing material. Allow the harness to air dry completely away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Regularly inspect the webbing for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage, and replace the harness if any such issues are found.
