Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Remove the protective shroud from the stainless steel probe.
- Power on the device by pressing the appropriate button (refer to device markings).
- Select your desired unit of measurement (Celsius or Fahrenheit).
- Insert the probe into the medium to be measured.
Compatibility:
This thermometer is compatible with a wide range of applications measuring temperatures within its specified range (-40°C to +250°C / -40°F to +482°F). It is ideal for HVAC systems, automotive diagnostics, and food temperature checks (excluding oven use).
Care:
- Clean the stainless steel probe after each use with a damp cloth. Avoid immersing the entire unit in water.
- Store the thermometer with the protective shroud in place to prevent damage to the probe.
- Replace the battery when the display indicates low power (typically a specific icon).
- Ensure the thermometer is kept within its operating temperature range to maintain accuracy.
