Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level before installation. Acclimate the flooring planks in the room for at least 48 hours before laying. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific click-and-lock system, typically involving angling planks to connect them. Leave an expansion gap around the perimeter of the room.
Compatibility: Suitable for installation over most existing hard-surface subfloors, including concrete, plywood, and old vinyl, provided they are level and in good condition. Not recommended for installation in areas prone to excessive moisture, such as bathrooms or saunas.
Care: Regular sweeping or vacuuming with a soft brush attachment is recommended to remove dust and debris. For cleaning, use a slightly damp mop or a cloth with a laminate-specific floor cleaner. Avoid using excessive water, abrasive cleaners, or steam mops, as these can damage the laminate.
