FAQs
Does this set include the Moses basket?
No, this is a bedding starter set only. The basket and mattress are sold separately.
Is the material safe for newborns?
Yes, the items are made from 100% cotton, which is gentle and breathable for newborn skin.
Can these items be machine washed?
Yes, all pieces are machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle and mild detergent.
Will these sheets fit a standard stroller mattress?
These sheets are specifically sized for standard Moses basket mattresses. They may not fit strollers properly due to variations in size and shape.
What is the benefit of the cellular blanket?
The cellular construction creates air pockets that help regulate your baby's temperature, preventing them from getting too hot.
Troubleshooting
Sheet appears loose on the mattress
Ensure you are using a standard-sized Moses basket mattress; smaller custom sizes may not provide the necessary tension for the elastic edges.
Fabric feels less soft after multiple washes
Avoid using fabric softeners which can build up on cotton fibers; instead, add a small amount of white vinegar to the rinse cycle to naturally soften the fabric.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Includes all essential bedding components for a newborn
- Soft, skin-friendly cotton fabric
- Provides two fitted sheets for quick changes
- Includes two distinct types of blankets for temperature control
- Neutral white color coordinates with any decor
Cons
- Moses basket and mattress are not included
- Limited to white color option
- Size is specific to standard Moses baskets only
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: simply stretch the elasticated fitted sheets over a standard-sized Moses basket mattress. The blankets are designed for versatility and can be tucked in or used as loose layering depending on safety guidelines.
Care instructions are simple due to the cotton composition: machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. To maintain the integrity of the popcorn and cellular weaves, avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach. Air drying or tumble drying on a low, delicate setting is recommended to preserve the softness of the fabrics.
