The Everlast Gym Lock is designed to be tamper-resistant. However, it's not designed to be used as a heavy duty lock.

The lock is made from a combination of alloy and plastic, providing a balance between durability and portability.

Double-check that the combination is entered correctly. Make sure the dials are properly aligned. If the combination is correct, try slightly adjusting the dials to the left or right, the mechanism can be sensitive.

Clean the dials and the surrounding area. Apply a graphite lubricant to the mechanism to improve smoothness. Ensure the lock is not exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity, which can affect the dials.

Make sure the dials are fully scrambled after locking. Try gently wiggling the shackle while attempting to open the lock. If the issue persists, check for any obstructions in the shackle mechanism.
