Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before initial use, assemble the BBQ following the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all connections are secure, especially for the gas supply. It is recommended to have two people for assembly due to the weight and size.
Compatibility: This BBQ uses standard propane gas cylinders. Ensure your gas hose and regulator are compatible and in good condition. For hybrid cooking, a standard bag of charcoal briquettes or lump charcoal is required.
Care:
- Cleaning the Hood: Wipe the porcelain enamel hood with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
- Grates: Clean the grill grates after each use while still warm. Use a stiff wire brush to remove food residue. For deeper cleaning, the grates can be removed and scrubbed.
- Burners: Periodically check the burner ports for blockages and clean them gently with a brush or a pin.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. The storage cabinet can be wiped down as needed.
- Covering: When not in use, it is advisable to cover the BBQ to protect it from the elements and prolong its lifespan. A suitable outdoor cover is recommended.
