Seachem Flourite is a stable, porous clay gravel designed for use in natural planted freshwater aquariums. It supports healthy plant growth while providing a visually appealing base. Available in a range of colours and textures, this 7Kg substrate is suitable for use alone or mixed with other gravels. Flourite Black Sand is most effective when used alone, but it may be mixed with other gravels. Modifiers such as laterites are not necessary. Flourite Black Sand is not chemically coated or treated and will not alter the pH of the aquarium. It provides essential minerals for plant growth. Its appearance is best suited to planted aquariums, but can be used in any freshwater aquarium environment. It does not need replacing.
