Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: To begin, expose the watch to sufficient light (natural or artificial) to ensure the solar cell is charged. For radio-controlled timekeeping, ensure the watch is placed in an area with good reception, typically near a window, away from electronic interference. Consult the user manual for specific instructions on selecting your local time zone and initiating the radio reception.
Compatibility: The radio-controlled feature is designed to sync with atomic time signals in specific regions (e.g., Japan, USA, Europe, China). The watch's ability to receive signals depends on your geographical location.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the surface. For the bracelet, a soft brush can help clean between links.
- Water Resistance: While rated at 200m, it is recommended to rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to saltwater or chlorinated water. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before exposure to water.
- Charging: Regularly expose the watch to light to maintain optimal battery charge. If the watch has been stored in darkness for an extended period, it may require a full charge. Avoid extreme temperatures.
