The Facom 841A.3PB electrician shears are professional-grade tools designed for electricians, automotive technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals who require a versatile, heavy-duty cutting solution. These shears excel at precision wire and cable management, offering a robust steel structure that integrates cutting, stripping, and crimping functions into a single 160 mm frame. While highly efficient for electrical work, users should note that these are specialized shears and are not intended for heavy-duty metal or masonry cutting tasks.

These shears can cut wires, cables, and pipes up to 50 mm² in diameter.
Yes, the shears feature an integrated crimping section designed for common electrical terminal applications.
No, while the handles have anti-slip ridges, they are not VDE-rated insulated handles and should not be used on live electrical circuits.
The stripping slots are precision-sized for 1.5 mm, 2.5 mm, and 4 mm wire gauges.
The shears weigh approximately 150g, making them highly portable and lightweight for all-day carry.
Ensure the wire gauge matches the specific stripping slot (1.5mm, 2.5mm, or 4mm) and pull the insulation with a steady, perpendicular motion.
Check the blades for debris buildup or adhesive residue. If the issue persists, ensure you are not exceeding the 50 mm² cutting capacity.
These shears require no assembly and are ready for immediate use upon removal from the packaging. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, wipe the blades clean after cutting plastic sheaths or sticky adhesive-backed materials. Keep the pivot point lubricated with a light machine oil to maintain smooth operation. Store the shears in the provided holder when not in use to protect the blade edges. Compatible with standard copper and aluminum electrical cables within the specified gauge ranges.
