Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup and Application
- Prepare Your Skin: Start with clean, moisturized skin. Applying a primer can help create a smooth canvas and extend wear, especially if you have fine lines or large pores.
- Dispense Product: Shake the bottle gently. Dispense 1-2 pumps onto the back of your hand or directly onto your preferred application tool (foundation brush, beauty sponge, or fingertips).
- Apply: Begin applying the foundation from the center of your face, blending outwards. Focus on areas where you desire more coverage, then feather out towards your hairline and jawline for a seamless transition.
- Build Coverage: For additional coverage, apply another thin layer to specific areas and blend. Avoid applying too much product at once to prevent a cakey appearance.
- Set (Optional): If you have oily skin or prefer a matte finish, lightly dust a translucent setting powder over your T-zone.
Compatibility
This foundation is generally compatible with most skin types due to its lightweight and buildable nature. Users with dry skin may benefit from a hydrating primer underneath. Those with oily skin might find that using a mattifying primer and setting powder helps control shine throughout the day while maintaining the radiant finish.
Care and Storage
- Storage: Store the foundation upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its consistency and efficacy.
- Cleaning Tools: Regularly clean your foundation brushes and sponges to prevent product buildup and bacterial growth. This ensures smooth application and prevents skin breakouts.
- Expiration: Most foundations have a shelf life of 12-24 months after opening. Check the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the packaging, which typically looks like an open jar with a number followed by 'M' (e.g., `12M`).
