Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure your belt sander is unplugged before changing belts. Release the tension on the belt mechanism, slide off the old belt, and carefully place the new 120 grit belt onto the rollers, ensuring the directional arrows on the belt (if present) align with the direction of rotation. Apply tension to the belt mechanism to secure the new belt. Turn on the sander briefly to check alignment before proceeding with use.
Compatibility: These belts are specifically designed for belt sanders that use the 40 x 305mm size. Always verify your tool's specifications before purchase.
Care: For optimal performance and longevity, avoid excessive pressure, which can overheat the bond and wear down the grain prematurely. Keep the belts clean by periodically brushing off dust buildup. Store belts in a dry environment to prevent degradation of the backing and adhesive.
