The RB260GS is a small SOHO switch with five Gigabit Ethernet ports and one SFP cage, powered by an Atheros Switch Chip. It runs on SwOS, a special operating system for MikroTik Switch products, configurable from a web browser. SwOS offers basic managed switch functionality, including port-to-port forwarding, MAC filtering, VLAN configuration, traffic mirroring, bandwidth limitations, and adjustments to MAC and IP header fields. MikroTik recommends using SFP modules like S-85DLC05D, S-31DLC20D, and S-35/53LC20D with this switch, which are sold separately.
