Check the P21W bulb filament, verify the ground connection, and ensure the spade terminals are tightly secured.
Inspect the terminal connectors for signs of oxidation or looseness; clean with a contact cleaner if necessary.
Ensure the lens housing is properly sealed against the mounting gasket and verify that the cable entry point is protected.
Installation requires a basic understanding of automotive wiring. The unit uses a 2-point attachment system; ensure the mounting surface is flat to prevent stress on the housing. When wiring, use the spade/flat pin terminal connectors to secure the electrical feed. It is recommended to use appropriate heat-shrink tubing or dielectric grease on the terminals to prevent corrosion, especially in regions prone to rain or road salt. Periodic cleaning of the exterior lens with a soft, non-abrasive cloth will ensure maximum light output over time. Always replace the bulb if you notice a flickering output or a blackened glass envelope, as these are signs of an impending failure.
