Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Wall Preparation: Ensure the walls are clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any old wallpaper or imperfections and fill any holes or cracks.
- Priming: Apply a wallpaper primer to the walls to create a good surface for the adhesive and to prevent the wallpaper from absorbing moisture.
- Adhesive: Use a wallpaper adhesive suitable for heavy-weight paper. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application.
- Hanging: Cut the wallpaper to the required length, allowing for extra at the top and bottom. Apply the adhesive to the back of the wallpaper, and carefully hang it on the wall, smoothing out any air bubbles.
- Seams: Match the pattern and smooth out the seams. Use a seam roller for a professional finish.
Compatibility
The wallpaper is compatible with most standard wall surfaces. It pairs well with neutral-colored furniture and decor to highlight its design.
Care
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the wallpaper with a damp cloth to remove any marks or stains.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wallpaper.
- Protect from Direct Sunlight: While durable, excessive exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colors to fade over time.
