Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Application
- Prepare Your Skin: Ensure your skin is clean and moisturized. For best results, apply a primer if desired.
- Dispense Product: A small amount goes a long way due to its full coverage. Use the doe-foot applicator to dot the product directly onto the desired area.
- Blend: Gently blend the product into your skin using a damp beauty sponge, a concealer brush, or your clean fingertip. Patting motions work best for coverage, while sweeping motions are good for a sheerer application or blending edges.
- Layer (Optional): For areas requiring extra coverage, allow the first thin layer to set slightly before applying a second, equally thin layer.
- Set (Optional): For extended wear or to prevent creasing, lightly set the concealer with a translucent setting powder, especially under the eyes.
Compatibility
This concealer's lightweight and hydrating formula is suitable for all skin types, including dry, oily, combination, and normal skin. It is designed to wear comfortably without caking on dry patches or emphasizing texture on oily areas. It pairs well with most foundations, powders, and primers.
Care & Storage
- Close Tightly: Always ensure the cap is securely closed after each use to prevent the product from drying out and to maintain its efficacy.
- Store Properly: Keep the concealer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which can alter the product's consistency and lifespan.
- Hygiene: Avoid sharing your concealer to maintain hygiene. If applying directly to the face, clean the applicator regularly with a tissue or wipe. For best practice, dispense a small amount onto the back of your hand or a clean mixing palette before applying to the face with a clean brush or sponge.
- Shelf Life: Refer to the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the packaging, typically indicated by an open jar icon with a number followed by 'M' (e.g., 6M, 12M), which denotes how many months the product is good for after opening.
