Setup, Compatibility & Care
Successful installation begins with site preparation. You must clear the area of existing vegetation and level the ground with a compacted sub-base like sharp sand or granite dust to ensure a flat finish.
- Preparation: Clear the ground and install a weed membrane to prevent growth beneath the turf.
- Installation: Roll out the grass, trim the edges with a sharp utility knife, and secure the perimeter using galvanised nails or specialized adhesive.
- Care: Keep the surface free of organic debris like fallen leaves and twigs using a leaf blower or a stiff-bristled garden brush.
- Maintenance: Periodically rinse the grass with water to remove dust. If the pile begins to look flat, a light brushing against the grain will help restore the upright appearance of the fibres.
