FAQs

What are the dimensions of the divan base?

The Divan base is available in standard UK sizes: 2FT6 Small Single, 3FT Single, 4FT Small Double, 4FT6 Double, 5FT King, and 6FT Super King. The base height is 12 inches, and the chrome glides add approximately 1.5 inches.

Does the bed base come assembled?

The Small Single and Single bases come as one piece. Bases from Small Double (4FT) upwards arrive as two pieces that need to be connected using the provided U-clips.

What is the warranty period for this bed base?

The Somnior Universal Divan Bed Base comes with a 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty.

Can I use any type of mattress with this base?

Yes, this divan base features a solid platform top and is compatible with all types of mattresses.

How is the bed delivered?

The bed is delivered to the room of your choice. The delivery date and time slot will be arranged directly with you by the courier prior to delivery.

How do I clean the pink plush velvet fabric?

For cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture to prevent damage to the fabric.

Troubleshooting

Bed base feels uneven or unstable

Ensure all feet glides are securely attached and the base is on a level surface. For larger sizes, verify that the two divan pieces are properly connected with the U-clips.

Drawers are difficult to open or close

Check for any obstructions in the drawer runners. Ensure the bed base itself is on a level surface. Verify the drawer is not overfilled.

Fabric appears discolored or dirty

Gently spot clean with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid soaking the fabric.

Divan base pieces (for larger sizes) do not align correctly

Loosen the U-clips slightly, allow the pieces to settle, and then re-tighten the clips firmly. Ensure no packaging material is hindering alignment.
