Troubleshooting
Desk wobbles after assembly
Ensure all frame screws are fully tightened. Adjust the height-adjustable plastic feet on the bottom of the legs to level the desk on your floor. Check that the X-shaped struts are correctly installed and secured.
Fabric pocket is difficult to attach
Ensure you are using the correct mounting points as indicated in the assembly manual. The pocket is designed to slide or hook onto designated frame parts; confirm these are aligned properly.
Surface shows minor scuffs or marks
Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the surface. For more stubborn marks, try a mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners. A melamine-specific repair pen might be an option for deeper scratches, if available.
Missing hardware during assembly
Double-check all packaging materials carefully. If hardware is confirmed missing, contact customer support with your product model number (404664) to request replacements.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The TECTAKE desk requires assembly. All necessary parts and instructions are typically included. Begin by assembling the steel frame according to the provided manual, then attach the tabletop and the fabric storage pocket. Ensure all screws are tightened securely but avoid over-tightening. Finally, adjust the plastic feet to level the desk.
Compatibility: This desk is designed as a standalone unit and does not require specific software or hardware compatibility. Its universal design makes it suitable for most home office environments.
Care: To maintain the desk's appearance and longevity, clean the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the melamine coating or the chipboard. For the fabric pocket, spot clean any spills or stains with a mild detergent and water. Ensure the desk is kept away from direct, prolonged exposure to sunlight, which can cause fading.
