Full details
This white VidaXL floating wall shelf is ideal for homeowners looking to create a stylish focal point and maximize display space. Its primary benefit is the invisible mounting system, offering a clean, minimalist look. A potential caveat is the 10 kg weight limit, requiring users to be mindful of what they display. The shelf is constructed from durable MDF and a metal frame, designed to complement various interior decors by turning empty walls into attractive features for showcasing awards, books, collectibles, and ornaments.

FAQs
What is the maximum weight this shelf can hold?
The maximum weight capacity for this shelf is 10 kg.
How is the shelf mounted to the wall?
It uses an invisible mounting system, where brackets are first attached to the wall, and the shelf then slides onto these brackets, creating a floating effect.
What material is the shelf made of?
The shelf is constructed from MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) and a metal frame.
What are the dimensions of the shelf?
The dimensions are 80 cm in length, 23.5 cm in width (depth), and 3.8 cm in height.
Can I paint the shelf a different color?
While technically possible, painting the MDF may alter its appearance and durability. Test on an inconspicuous area first. It's recommended to use it in its original white finish for best results.
Are wall mounting screws and anchors included?
The product information does not specify if mounting hardware is included. It's recommended to use fixings appropriate for your specific wall type.
How do I clean the shelf?
Clean the shelf with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
Troubleshooting
Shelf is not level
Re-check the mounting brackets using a level during installation. Adjust bracket placement or wall anchors as needed.
Shelf feels unstable
Ensure the shelf is correctly seated on the mounting brackets. Verify that the brackets are securely fastened to the wall, using appropriate anchors for your wall type and that the weight limit is not exceeded.
White finish is scratched
For minor scratches, a white furniture touch-up pen might help. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials. Minor damage may be difficult to repair completely without repainting.
Mounting hardware missing
Contact the retailer or manufacturer for replacement parts. Ensure you have the correct model number (323814) and brand (VidaXL) when requesting parts.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The shelf features an invisible mounting system. Ensure you have the necessary tools, including a drill, level, and screwdriver. Locate wall studs for the most secure installation, or use appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (e.g., drywall, plaster, brick – anchors may not be included). Follow the included instructions carefully to attach the mounting brackets to the wall and then slide the shelf onto them.
Compatibility: This shelf is designed for indoor use on standard wall types. It is compatible with most common wall materials when the correct fixings are used.
Care: To clean the shelf, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the MDF surface. Wipe spills immediately to prevent staining. Ensure the weight limit is not exceeded to maintain structural integrity.
