Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your arrangement, first ensure the foam is fully hydrated. Trim your flower stems at a 45-degree angle before inserting them into the foam to maximize surface area contact for water intake. For heavy woody stems, consider pre-piercing the foam with a skewer to prevent damage. When working with artificial stems, you may choose to use a small amount of adhesive at the base to ensure the stems remain fixed during transport. To care for the base, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth if any debris or water splashes onto the exterior. After your event, the plastic base can be cleaned with mild soap and water and reused for future projects by replacing the foam core.
